E-justice is in Alberto's DNA, as he graduated in civil procedure with a dissertation about the Italian "Processo Civile Telematico" (Electronic Civil Procedure, in English). Admitted to the Milan Bar since 2012, Alberto specialises in legal informatics and is a consultant for companies, bar associations, public administrations and courts. As a senior trainer and lecturer he has been a regular speaker in dozens of conferences, workshops, seminars and hundreds of training courses. Alberto is also the author of several articles and publications on topics related to legal informatics. As of March 2021, Alberto is involved in consulting and training activities related to the Unified Patent Court and the development of its Case Management System.

The Unified Patent Court has been off to a good start. However, many users struggle with the UPC Case Management System (UPC CMS), the central platform for all judicial activities.While the UPC aims at developing - with the EPO - a (new) CMS, users will still need to work with the current CMS.
