Prior to his current position, Prof. Hacker held a management position in the accounting department of a major German bank and a large German industrial company. He was a member of the International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC), London, from 2006-2013. From January to August 2015, he was a guest lecturer at PennState University in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. Prof. Hacker deals with national and international accounting and financial statement analysis.
