Head of Global Pharmacovigilance, EU-QPPV, local QPPV; Reinhold Schilling is a recognised expert in the field of pharmacovigilance, with more than a decade of experience in drug safety and regulatory affairs. After completing his degree in Chemistry at the University of Bonn and a part-time Master’s degree in Drug Regulatory Affairs, he specialised early in regulatory matters within the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2021, he has been serving as Head of Global Pharmacovigilance at Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG, where he leads the global drug safety department. In his role as EU Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) and Stufenplanbeauftragter, he holds responsibility for ensuring compliance with international regulations, assessing medicinal product risks, and developing effective risk management strategies. In addition to his industry role, Reinhold is actively engaged in academia. He lectures on pharmacovigilance at Reutlingen University and Goethe Business School. Furthermore, as an active member of the BPI working group on pharmacovigilance, he contributes his expertise to the ongoing development of regulatory frameworks. His professional ambition is to continuously strengthen patient safety through clear processes, sound expertise, and strong leadership, with compliance serving as the cornerstone of all success.

Dr Kerstin Stephan graduated from Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf in 1993. After that, she worked in a public pharmacy. Currently, she is a lecturer in drug regulatory affairs at the Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn and is also employed in a public institution.
